Grower's Story

Gorilla Summit Coffee is a social enterprise working with 2,500 coffee farmers to improve their incomes and access to education and healthcare.

When Gorilla Summit Coffee introduced its pursuit for specialty coffee to the Nyakishenyi Women's Association located in South-Western Uganda, all 260 members of this female alliance were interested.

Known for their blunt words and physical strength, these women live in the mountains of Kigezi and have been working together on communal digging and pooling resources to acquire micro-loans to grow some of the best tasting coffee in the world.

This natural coffee is fruity and bright - You will note flavors of berry and jam. We think it smells just like fresh strawberries!

We are humbled and excited to support these resilient women and we know the quality of the coffee will be exceptional every season.
