Located in the interior mountains of Costa Rica, the Tarrazú coffee-growing region is the most famous in the country. Beneficio del Rio Tarrazu, is located on land across the Tarrazu River. The mill is one of the most technologically advanced and ecologically sound coffee processing facilities in the world.
This coffee is a washed coffee. Therefore, this is a less fruit forward cup. We find that when brewed, this Costa Rican coffee is chocolate forward, with notes of macademia nut and sweet, maple syrup finish.
